AYMOD CNR EXPO, the second biggest fair in its own kind, will be held until the 10th of October, in Yeşilköy. The Head of Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey (TASD), Hüseyin Çetin stated that the companies in shoe sector which buy and sell products from Italy focused on Turkish market in accordance with the exchange rates and employment costs and added: "Investors from all around the world rushed into AYMOD."

International Footwear Fashion Fair (AYMOD), the global meeting arena of the shoe industry, CNR EXPO will continue till the 10th October in Yeşilköy. Investors from different countries such as Germany, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Algeria, Morocco, France, the Netherlands, Iraq, England, Iran, Spain, Israel, Italy, Russian Federation, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Omani, Jordan, Greece and especially the USA and Hong Kong paved the way for future agreements for significant contributions into the Turkish footwear industry.

-TOWARDS TURKISH MARKET-

The Head of Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey (TASD), Hüseyin Çetinreflected his remarks on foreign investors who visit AYMOD and told there are significant developments for the benefit of the industry in the 54th fair held this year.

Çetin also said foreign investors gained the opportunity to get to know the Turkish market closely and added "the companies in shoe sector which buy and sell products from Italy focused on Turkish market in accordance with the exchange rates and employment costs. Foreign investors, who want to have the products in the same quality and trend but with more affordable prices, as the phrase goes, rushed into AYMOD this year."

-"TURKISH-AMERICAN FOOTWEAR COMPANIES ARE COMING TOGETHER"-

"This year, AYMOD witnessed a legendary moment of our industry. The Old Consultant of Economics of the White House, Peter Mancion carried out detailed studies in the fair and examined each company one by one. Analyzing the footwear companies in Turkey, Mancion will return to his country and inform about the possibility of a collaboration with the companies in the USA in terms of their needs" said Çetin and added that they are working to bring Turkish and American companies in New York AYMOD together within three years and if everything goes alright, they can make a surprise to the industry."

Expressing those 11 African companies participated into AYMOD to see the production power in the Turkish market and to get an idea about the leather shoes, trend, design, and fashion; Çetin told "Another reason for foreign investors to tend towards AYMOD is the failure of China in the production of fashionable and trendy footwear. The Head of Hong Kong Footwear Association William Wong who came to the fair to get to know the Turkish footwear industry closely was our important guest. Another significant development on behalf of our industry will be with them. We have decided to have a showroom in Hong Kong."

Displaying products such as classic or modern flat shoes, boots, sports shoes, bags, wallets and belts in all segments, AYMOD became an opportunity for the new-comer companies to the market. The companies which know the Turkish market closely learned about foreign buyers' expectations. As the biggest meeting of the industry, AYMOD was held with the participation of famous companies like Cabani, Çetsan, Makro, SürenDeri, Atiker, Polat, VesDeri, Acarlar, Terteks, TopbaşKundura, As Erdoğan, Şahinler, Altınkoza, Özözler, Etor in a 60000m2 area.
